Who we are
Recordal is a pre-launch project and is not yet incorporated; these terms will be updated when an entity is formed. In these pages, “Recordal”, “we” and “us” refer to the Recordal project.
What we collect
- Demo requests. If you use the Book a demo form on this site, you give us your name, work email and institution. We use them only to contact you about your request.
- Basic technical data. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps) to run and protect the service. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when serving them.
- Cookies. This website does not set its own cookies and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
How we use it
To contact you about your demo request, to run, secure and improve the website, and to meet legal obligations.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and handle demo requests: Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery of demo requests) and Google Fonts (typefaces). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Retention
We keep demo request details only as long as needed for the conversation and any follow-up, then delete them. Hosting logs are kept for limited periods set by Vercel.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR or California’s CCPA, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to complain to your data protection authority. We do not sell or “share” personal information for targeted advertising. To make a request, contact us via the Book a demo form. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Children
This website is meant for professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, they rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Changes
We may update this policy, for example when an entity is formed. The effective date above will change when we do.
